Lying, he's good at getting people to do what he wants. Strength, he's a creature and he doesn't let things stand in his way. Survival Skills, after living so many years on his own. fears, Being held captive be Sauron, not having the one ring the ring being destroyed. Shelob the spider. Orcs, he runs.
dreams, To take the ring which was stollen from him.
personality, Sméagol was the most inquisitive and curious-minded of his community. He owed his name to the fact that he was interested in roots, deep pools, he burrowed and tunnelled under trees, plants and mounds.
There is some debate about the nature of his impulse to kill Déagol. Some maintain that Sméagol, as a Hobbit, was good at heart, and it was entirely the Ring's doing. But the more popular and perhaps more likely opinion is that Sméagol was harboring dark thoughts to begin with.
Split Personality, sometimes he's goodhearted and willing to do anything for anyone in order to help them. Then he's crude and vicious when it comes to him and his goal to take the ring back into possession. He would even kill for his right to ring which was stolen from him.

lineage, Stoor Hobbit of the River-folk,
history,Sméagol became the fourth Bearer of the One Ring, after Sauron, Isildur, and Déagol. Déagol was his cousin, and on Sméagol's birthday, they went fishing in the Gladden Fields north of the mountains. It was there that Déagol found a gold ring, after being pulled into the water by a large fish. Sméagol demanded the ring as a birthday present and strangled Deágol to death, when he refused. Sméagol was quickly corrupted further by the ring and, banished by his people, was forced to find a home in a cave in the Misty Mountains. The Ring's malignant influence twisted his Hobbit body and mind and prolonged his life far beyond its natural limits. He called it his "Precious" or his "Birthday Present," the latter as a justification for killing Déagol.
He lived in the Misty Mountains for over four hundred years, living on raw blind fish (which he caught from his small row boat) and Goblins when he could get them. Indeed, he made a song about raw fish. In later years, he found Hobbit and Elven food repulsive.
During his centuries under the Ring's influence, he developed a sort of dissociative identity disorder. Sméagol, his "good" personality, still vaguely remembered things like friendship and love, while Gollum, his "bad" personality, was a slave to the Ring and would kill anyone who tried to take it.
Gollum eventually left the Mountains and pursued Bilbo a few years later, but the trail was cold. He made his way south into Mordor where all evil was being drawn at the time, discovering the secret stair located near Minas Morgul and surviving an encounter with Shelob. He was captured on his way back and forced to reveal what he knew about the Ring. Most likely he was tortured by Sauron in person, and is thus the only character apart from Sauron's servants known to have seen Sauron and survived. Gollum was then strangely freed, as he shows no particular loyalty towards Sauron, but caught by Aragorn, then interrogated by Gandalf, who placed him in the care of the Silvan Elves living in Thranduil's kingdom in Mirkwood. Assisted by orcs he escaped them, and set off looking for the Shire. He passed through Moria, but could not make it out of the East gate. Seemingly he then just waited there until he got lucky when the Fellowship passed through. However, as Frodo as ring-bearer gained some measure of foresight, he might have foreseen the passing of the ring. Alternatively, some of Saruman's or Sauron's spies may have revealed to him the Fellowship was heading towards Moria.

rp sample,Gollum sat quietly watching the Hobbits as they way underneath the moon. Surely they were asleep by now, Gollum had been following the all day and night. Now that the two hobbits were alone and away from the circle they called the fellowship, Gollum had easy access to the ring. The ring was right in front of him, in the pocket of the little vest the small hobbit wore. Gollum was perched on a bolder above them, slowly he moved quickly and quietly to get a better visual. "It's mine it is, and me wants it." Gollum said out-loud and hopefully the hobbits didn't hear. Right when Gollum was about to pounce the hobbits jumped from their spot on the ground and grabbed Gollum by the arms and jerked him to the ground. Gollum, was shocked by what had happened and naturally he tried to get away. Still, the thought of the ring lingered in the back of his head call is name it almost seemed. Gollum Grabbed up the small hobbit and looked at the vest the ring was just underneath the fabrics.
Suddenly Sam hit him over the head with one of the many frying pans that he carried on his back. Instinct took over him and he went from Sam. Only to be roped, the Elven rope pulled and burned at his neck, he desperately pulled scrambled around on the ground the rope just tightened.
"You've been following us." Gollum now had a sword pointed to his throat, he never thought he would've been in this position. The Hobbit s were a lot stronger than they made themselves out to be. Half of Gollum wants to fight, the other half was scared. "Now that I see him, I do pity him." the smaller hobbit stated looking at Gollum with sympathy. Gollum took his chance.
"The ring did it."
