hair, Eadwyn has thick hair, it shines in the light and has a natural wave to it but is not curly, unlike some her hair is not that long and tends to fall to her elbows, at times she will cut it to her shoulders to prevent people from grabbing her hair and stopping her from defending herself. Her hair is worn down most of the time though she is known to braid it to show her stance in the kingdom never doing anything too fancy.

eyes, Eadwyn has very round eyes, they are large big round things coming from her head watching you carefully, they appear to be a chestnut colour with deep bark brown and have a slight sadness to them.

build and body, 5’6ft standing not so tall compared to some but she stands tall enough to spot her head in a crowd of ladies. She has a good strong build, though she shows feminine features she has a good build to her and is very healthy, she stands tall and doesn’t slouch keeping her shoulders back and head held high.

anything else, Like many ladies Eadwyn has her ears pierced each to add a feminine edge to herself. She has a light scatter of freckles across her face and mainly across her nose and cheeks. She is also often wearing a brown cloak hence her most common nickname ‘The Brown Lady’.

likes,

- Horse Riding, there is something about riding a horse in an open field and across great distances that has Eadwyn excited, she enjoys speed when travelling and horses are such majestic creatures in her mind.

- Spending time with Eowyn, not only is she to serve and protect the woman she is friends with her and enjoys the womans company greatly seeing her as a friend and sister, someone she can trust no matter what.

- Watching the sunset, every sunset is different from her point and seeing the world light up with different colours is something that makes her smile, it's soothing in her mind and the perfect thing to make someone calm down.

- Picking Flowers, freedom is the best way to explain it in her mind. She enjoys not only flowers but they are always in open space in such beauty and she loves smelling the different smells, seeing the different colours and then turning the flowers into something beautiful.

- Meeting new people, expanding her friends is always something she has enjoyed, of course there are times she does not want to meet new people but she jumps at the chance to meet someone new and hear of their travells and adventures, she finds it important to know as many people as possible in the event you may ever need them in the future.

- Sparing, not so much fighting itself but learning the skills is something she enjoys often especially against Eowyn and Eomer, it allows her to know that no matter who she is coming up against she has the strength to fight with the other person across from her.

- Children, though she mourns the loss of her son children bring a smile to face and make her laugh, she feels complete when small people are around her.

dislikes,

- Evil, the fact that evil has such a strong grasp on Rohan and is taking charge of it twisting it to its will and destroying all within it.

- Her mother, though she does love the woman she also hates her for making her so weak and leaving her and her sister Sybil taking Lucinda with her to Gondor instead of staying together as a family.

- Dirt, more to the point on feeling dirty which is something she hates, she likes being clean and well groomed not messy and dirty.

- Loosing people, she hates the pain that comes with loosing those close to you and seeing the affect loss has on those around her.

- Running away, she would love for nothing more than to take a stance and prove herself worthy of greatness, she hates hiding and running from threats and wishes she had what it took to face them straight on.

- Threats to Eowyn, people and forces that threaten her lady and friend are not things Eadwyn enjoys at all. She will do whatever it takes to protect Eowyn from the threats that come against her.

strengths,

- Throwing, not just knives but apples and many other things she is a fine thrower as she is with fighting with a sword, though she might with using an arrow, throwing something comes as easy as breathing to her.

- Debating, she has this habit of having to fight but always for the right reasons, she will question things especially if she does not believe it will work simply to make the person she is debating/fighting with see her point and change their mind.

- Dress Making, she is very good at many things, she has to be when serving one such as Eowyn but her skills lie in dress making and coming up with beautiful designs and clothing fit for anyone.

- Sneaking Around, she see's more than she should and knows much that goes on inside the kingdom of Rohan especially the great halls of the 'castle'. Gettin Eowyn from one location to another un-noticed is something Eadwyn has become rather good at, she is known for sneaking about and not getting caught acting as a shadow most of the time.

- Gentle, she is gentle by nature and though she can be very rough and mean and demanding when asked of normally Eadwyn is someone who is gentle and speaks in a hushed tone almost like a whisper calming people with her words rather than hurting them with them.

weaknesses,

- Children, though a strength of hers they are also a weakness, she will do whatever it takes to protect them especially since she lost her son.

- Smiling, she has trouble smiling at times because of what she has lost, she will smile at times and normally it is faked, it's rare to come across someone who can make her smile for real.

- Bee's, she has a bad reaction to their sting so she tends to freak out when a bee is around and run in the other direction as fast as she can.

- Keeping her mouth shut, there are times when Eadwyn simply cannot hold back and will speak her mind even if it hurts someone, she cannot always contain herself so her mouth gets her into trouble at times.

- Shadows, Eadwyn tends to freak out when there are large shadows coming her way or she sees a shadow move as she tends to think it is something coming for her as the orc's came in the shadows of the sunset when they attacked her village.

personality,

Eadwyn is a strong person; she may not always seem like it though. As all mortals she has emotions and fears and desires and though she wishes she could feel nothing she lives with her emotions to the best of her capability. Eadwyn tends to be very sensitive to those around her; she takes on others emotions as her own and learns to understand someone through their pain and emotions rather than their words. She is someone who does her best to look inside of someone to see the truth to them, to find their inner beauty and not just judge them on what is on the outside. This is part of the reason she was appointed to be Eowyn’s lady in waiting.

You will not often find Eadwyn doing as asked but that does not mean she always follows orders as she will often go against them if she believes it’s the right thing to do, she follows her gut rather than an order, you will find that she is someone who knows many things because she observes those around her and has a very good memory recalling things from years or days ago and often quoting people from word to word. This can make her seem cocky at times and a threat to those against the people of Rohan. None the less though her words are not only used against people but they are used to help people and though she sees much she hears much too and will always give someone her attention if they need it, normally she never turns her back on someone in need. Eadwyn has this way of using her words to her advantage and calming people down or making them see their actions.

She is not someone who backs out of something and will see it through seeming focused and determined which can make her seem stubborn and unreasonable at times. She has a hard shell around her and only lets a few people breach that shell. No doubt people’s words do hurt her even if she does not always show them. It’s not often you will see her smile or hear her laugh but there are times she does do it. She is hard headed, loyal and respectful and tries to bite her tongue but does fail at times. She can though seem shy and withdrawn and it will take time for her to open up to you.

Alexio, passed away, they did not speak very often when he was alive but she honours his memory but is not one to talk much about him and prefers to drop the subject. He died on a hunting trip.

Eve, alive and living in Gondor, she suffered the loss of her husband many years ago and after the attack on her families village she fled to Gondor with her youngest daughter Lucinda. Eadwyn is not that close to her mother but loves her none the less.

siblings,

- Sybil - younger sister of 26, the two are often talking to one another and spending time in the other's company, Sybil lives in Rohan with her husband so Eadwyn makes time for her family whenever she can spare it.

- Lucinda - younger sister of 23, she is close to her sister and though she sister travelled with their mother to Gondor Eadwyn is always writing to her and planning trips for her sister to visit. She can only hope that her sister is safe within the walls of Gondor.

- Brim - husband - dead, she married Brim when she was 23 and bore him a son a two years later, the two were very happy and close but he died defending the village from an orc attack leaving Eadwyn to mourn his loss and move to Rohan.

- Lucas - son - dead, she was 25 when she gave birth to Lucas but after his father's death when he was 5 she moved to Rohan where Lucas died of the sleeping sickness in the young {stoped breathing in his sleep} when he was 7 months old and she was forced to burry her only child.

history,

Eadwyn was born in a small village on the outskirts of Rohan, her father was a soldier for the village and her mother did a lot of farming with some other wives. Eadwyn was assumed to be a male before she was born and hence her name is of male orientation something her father thought would suit his eldest child none the less. He was a tough man, very strong and as his family grew he taught his daughters defence and the virtues of being able to protect ones self and family.

Eadwyn was a curious child, she learnt the basics in her village along with reading and writing and went travelled to Gondor when she was 10 years old, the city was beautiful and she loved the land very much though her time there was cut short when her father was called back to Rohan for duty.

Eadwyn was a strong girl, though she would often get into trouble and play it rough she was always getting her sisters out of trouble and protecting them from others in the village. As she grew more and started to turn into a lady her father was getting many offers for her hand in marraige but it he believed his daughters should marry for love and not because they were told to, something their mother was not too pleased about. He died when Eadwyn was 16 the same year she caught sight of Brim who she fell for.

As her romance bloomed with Brim who helped carry her through the loss of her father he offered his hand in marriage when she was 21 and to support her family when they could not fully support themselves. Eadwyn brought in money from her dressmaking but the fabrics were not all cheap and her sisters were younger and only new to working. She accepted his marriage proposal and 2 years later they were married. It was during these times she was happiest in her life but all joy comes to an end at some point or another.

On her 23rd birthday she was married to Brim and moved into a small house he had built for himself and his wife to live in. Her husband taught her many things most on horse riding and defence. It was 2 years later she bore him a son, Lucas who he loved dearly and whom Eadwyn loved. She however had her happy life cut short when during sunset one night the village was attacked by orcs and the women and children were forced to flee to the mountains, deep in her heart she knew she would never see Brim again though she tried to have hope. That cold night they waited for news and it did not come until morning when those surviving men came to them all and they were forced to return to their burnt homes and burry their dead.

Eadwyn was heart broken, having lost the man she loved she burried him with the help of her sister's and said her goodbyes to her mother and youngest sister who travelled to Gondor while Sybil and Eadwyn fled to Rohan unable to live in the village they had once spent their lives in, they needed something new and fresh and so with some others of their village they set to Rohan where the girls set up a home and lived together. It was here when a soldier of Rohan caught Sybil's eye and soon the two were seeing one another, though she was happy for her sister she had trouble showing it as it brought memories of her husband back.

Life only took a turn for the worse when her son died in his sleep and she was forced to burry her only child. It was on the day of his burial that she met Eowyn's brother and cousin and there that they took pitty on her and offered her work in the castle where she worked for sometime before Éomer noticed her skills and appointed her to be Eowyn's lady in waiting and female body-guard. She would train with Éomer personally to improve her fighting skills, hunting skills and horse riding skills things she would need to protect Eowyn fully. She took a liking to Eowyn someone she found herself able to talk to and not only did she class Eowyn her leader but also her friend and someone she would lay her life down for not just because of her job but because of her love for the woman and by seeing the strength in Eowyn she too learnt to be stronger than she had been.

Not long after her rise in rank now being the Lady in Waiting for Eowyn she was soon helping her sister arrange her marriage celebrations which occured 18months ago, the last time she saw her mother and sister before they left for Gondor once more. After her sister's wedding her life went to normal again and she continued serving Eowyn helping her when needed and standing back when needed, she see's more than people assume and is slowly watching as the darkness is taking over Rohan. Everynight she hopes someone will come and help the people of Rohan and save them from their pending doom, she hopes Eowyn will remain strong and not give up, the the kingdom will remain strong and not become weak as it seems to be. The road ahead if bumpy but one thing is for sure, her life belongs to Eowyn and she will do as her lady askes of her as she has done so much for Eadwyn how could she refuse The White Lady.
