Boromir & Faramir--*squeals with happiness at having Faramir's brother!* Just had to get that out. =) What I'm thinking right now is that for all I know Boromir might end up leaving the Fellowship and coming back to Minas Tirith once he figures out that there's no way he's going to convince the rest of them to take the Ring back to his homeland. He thinks the quest will fail so he'll want to go back to Gondor and die defending his home. If we want some real substantial action between these two, then we could always start off with a goodbye thread between them before Boromir left for Rivendell.
I think that once Boromir sees how much Faramir cares for Eowyn, then he won't be so against a woman with a sword. He would never make his brother choose.

/squealing as well. I love these two. I see -- what an interesting plot; should that happen, Faramir would be extremely glad to have his brother back at first, then start feeling some sort of pseudo-secondhand guilt once he learns about the Ring/in relation to Boromir. A goodbye thread would be painful and lovely. |

Boromir & Faramir--We can get the goodbye thread going whenever you want to. I'm going to be gone for a little while today and then working on a lot of homework when I do get back. You can start the thread if you'd like to or I could probably get something up tomorrow for them.

Okay, so shoot this down if you like... but if Nimithil succeeds in finding the fellowship, I think it would be fabulously fun if Boromir mistook Nim for a female elf? And maybe chased him a bit? Just because I love to see Nimithil get all squirmy and panicked. He'd strongly dislike Boromir anyway, as the man is all that Nim has been forced to pretend to be his whole life - but if Boromir flirted with him, Nim would genuinely be horrified, and not have a clue what to do. Just putting the idea out there xD <3 <3 xxx

Boromir & Nimithil--Well, I definitely see the mistaken identity happening. I think at first Boromir would be a jerk to Nim because, if he believes Nim's a lady, Boromir would think that the Fellowship's quest is work for men. I don't know if flirting would necessarily enter into the equation but Boromir might start to suspect that Nim came to the Fellowship in the hopes that she/he could certain needs that men have. And I could see Boromir at least bringing that up to Nim. That's not exactly flirting but it's the closest I could see Boromir getting to that.

I'm not sure what would happen if these two on some occasion ran into each other, maybe when Boromir comes to Rivendell about the ring, but I think it'd be funny. She's mostly human and a healer in Rivendell. I think she'd be very cautious around him but wouldn't be hostile or anything. She's sort of naive and wants to see the good in everyone, so they could get into a bit of an awkward conversation over evil or something... My brain isn't working right apparently.
