Legolas is the son of King Thranduil, which makes him a prince of Mirkwood; however his own introduction would include naught more than the fact he is an archer hailed of the woodland realms, and most recently a member of the fellowship of the ring. He is thoroughly humble and polite, save when someone dishonors his home or companions, and then a loyal and good friend to all whom he feels deserve companionship. Being fairly young for his races standards, he is not without a certain amount of natural curiosity and hopefulness in regards the the world around him, a certain lightness of heart that may seem out of place. He has seen enough of the bad in this world to be sombered, and to know there is a reason to fight- but he has seen enough good to know that there are things well worth fighting for.

Legolas & TariHmm two elves, she is much older than Legolas that is for sure and would see him to be very young among others. No doubt though he is a royal and she would respect him as she knows his father and sent gifts at his birth, maybe one he still has? Perhaps Tari could be like a 'mentor' to Legolas at times, guiding him at times of need and helping him understand things, she could have trained him maybe in the art of horse whispering at one point possibly? I could see them as friends as I doubt she'd class him as an enemy. I almost fell like she would watch over Legolas at times glad he is in the fellowship but worried for his life and what he might witness on his journey. I would certainly say good friends, someone she can pour her knowledge into and in return he could help her get over her hatred for the dwarves who killed her ancestor and brought war to her people forcing them from Doraith. I think some interesting plots could come of these two especially when we get a Gimli, what do you think?

Galadriel&&LegolasOf course, these two are sure to know each other. And they will meet again when the Fellowship comes to Lothlorien. I think a conversation between these two would be good.

Legolas && Tari I really like your idea. I'd love to say that he possesses a gift of hers and she was the one to teach him horse whispering. I see their initial relationship as being very cordial due to their royal lineage but I imagine that over the course of actually getting to know each other they could have developed into friends. I believe in the books it said that Legolas had not spent much time in Lothlorien and so the time he did I believe he'd be very interested in learning and experiencing as much as he could. He'd respect her enough as a person, not just a position, to listen to anything she had to say and take it into consideration although he'd be very dismissing of her worries because he deems the fellowship worth whatever they face. I think he would be able to, or at least try his hardest, to assist with Gimli in decreasing her hatred of the dwarves, of course, Legolas will have to get over his own qualms first, which will come shortly after if we get a Gimli. Anyway, yes, we'll need to thread. Legolas && Galadriel Yes, of course they would. All through that part of the book and the movie I was looking for a bit of interaction between these two. It seemed like it would have been very fitting. I think finding a time for them to converse would be fantastic.

Éowyn&Legolas At some point or other, Legolas, Aragorn, and Gimli show up at Rohan, and Gandalf as well. So, Legolas is bound to meet Éowyn. I can see them at least being friends, I don't see why not after all. They both support the fellowship. I can see Éowyn trying to convince Legolas to let her come with them and fight, to no avail of course.

Legolas && Eowyn I'm sorry I didn't respond here sooner! I certainly think these two would have reason to thread and become better acquainted in Rohan. I actually think that, after she explains her reasons for wanting to fight, Legolas may be one of the ones slightly more open to it, or open at least to discussing it instead of outright refusing. Its not completely unheard of among the elves for women to be skilled in a form of fighting, and though had little hope in the battle as a whole, a lot of it is because so many people are being put to fight, whereas she has both the skills and the reason to want to. If he heard from her something that was truly meritable and made him understand why she would want to do this (a bit like the fight he and aragorn had before the battle in the movie) though he might still not agree or want her to do it, I can't see him being unsupportive.

éowyn&legolas Definitely! Haha she'd love to have someone that would actually almost-kinda-sorta support her, or at least someone that wasn't one hundred percent against her at any rate. <3
OH and I have two more for you.
aranel&legoas Both elves, though Nell is from Rivendell. She travels a lot and does support the Fellowship, so she might meet up with them at least once during her travels, and will be happy to aid them as she can, however needed. I can see them at least being good acquaintances, even if they don't see each other a lot.
diamond&legolas The only thing I can think of right now is if he meets her later on, like waaay later on. Seeing as she eventually marries Pippin, it's possible she ends up meeting Legolas as I'm sure everyone from the Fellowship won't just disband when the journey is over and never talk again. ^^; Other than that I'm not sure.

Eroniar and Legolas I think these two may get on, Eron would have a lot of respect for him because of his status and would be willing to help him out if need be, considering that's what he and his crew do. He could end up meeting him during the time Legolas is in the fellowship or something.

Legolas && Aranel Mhm, good acquaintances for them sounds good as well and it's very possibly she'll have a chance to encounter the fellowship at some point. Maybe they could have even met prior, if you wanted to have something we could actually thread now? Legolas made numerous trips to Rivendell before the counsel. Maybe they could have ended up journeying together while they were both making a return to the place, little adventure or something, at least a meeting. =] Legolas && Diamond Yes, I'm sure after the war of the ring has come and passed Legolas will be taking some trips to the Shire and he'll have a chance to get to know Pippin's lovely bride. Legolas && Eroniar I think how they get on would depend much on the context of their meeting. Though he wouldn't dislike or see any bad in Eron, I don't see him particularly having any reason to meet with him either. Legolas would not look for his help or relay any information regarding the fellowship to him. The only thing I can think of is them maybe Eron's group and the Fellowship working against a common enemy at the same time?

Eroniar and Legolas Yeah I understand that he would not look for his help so I think if they meet it would be more of a chance meeting maybe yeah maybe Eroniar and the Companions meet the fellowship at some point. And like you said fight against a common enemy

Legolas && Aranel Either is good, hmm just... in the middle of somewhere coming from somewhere? lol Wherever it might be that something interesting could happen to them.
Legolas && Diamond Haha, he wouldn't mind I don't think. It'd probably be one of his first times in the Shire so he'd have just as many things to be interested about. Legolas && Eroniar Agreed.

aranel&legolas How about in Rivendell before he departs with the fellowship? Or if that's already happened, we could always do Lórien when he's there with the fellowship.
diamond&legolas Haha well Dia would love that, then. Being an adventurer and all, she'd probably offer to tour him like everywhere XD She'd probably force him to go everywhere with her lol.

Hullo, dear brother~!
So, obviously these two know each other. I imagine in their youth the two brothers would have been the best of friends: after all, they share many traits. I can imagine them getting up to all sorts of trouble in the woods during the Guarded Peace? But I think perhaps they will have grown apart now, with Nimithil always trying to be what his father wants? Perhaps Legolas would worry about his older brother, but also feel a level of separation from him? But obviously Nimithil has never stopped caring completely for Legolas.
Nimithil is currently seeking the fellowship under another name - and I'd rather like him to find them. Perhaps Legolas would be surprised at the lengths his brother has gone to to ensure his well being? But yeah, definitely a loving reunion is going on in my mind...
Add, subtract, delete at will~! <3 <3 <£

Nimithil and Legolas I agree, these two were probably very close when they were younger. Poor King Thranduil; well, maybe he had better luck with his oldest son staying out of trouble.
Like I saw you mention Nimithil slightly envious of Legolas'.. political freedom, I think Legolas would similarly feel left out in regards to the respect and responsibility that Nim has had bestowed upon him as they grew up. Obviously, Nim goes to decent legnths to earn that while he doesn't. I think Legolas would have tried numerous times to make his brother 'see reason' that sometimes they need to follow their instincts over their father's word. It would have been.. frustrating to him, to watch his brother undermine his own passions like that. The amount of separation now does make sense, though again, I'm sure both still care greatly about one another.
Legolas really just up and left Mirkwood when he went to tell them about Gollum. There wasn't an order or much planning and presumably, Thranduil would be quiet angry. Especially when he never returned. I imagine him having considered telling Nim, but he was also a little worried that Nim would be as against the decision to join the fellowship as their father and he really just didn't want to end up getting scolded like an elfling. xD But, without a doubt, when all is said and done, he'd be happy to see Nimithil whether he agreed with Legolas or not. <3
