Name changed from Greenwood after a shadow of Sauron fell upon it, Mirkwood is one of the only elven realms to have been taken over by darkness. The elves of the land were were pushed further and further north and greatly diminished by Sauron himself, and the forest is now home to many dark and savage things.

Gondor is one of the last great strongholds of men and the hopes of Middle Earth. The capitol of Gondor is the White City of Minas Tirith, which looks down over Pelanor Fields.

In the realm of Sauron there rests a darkness which never sleeps. The land is riddle with fire, ash, and dust, and the darkness of the dark and most unnatural beings. This was where the one ring was created, and this is where the one ring must be destroyed.
